Polished Personas
We have created two personas, primary and secondary, as both our target users are some of the other way struggling with the management of subscriptions of multiple applications they are using. Moreover, both of our target users are quite busy with their schedule as one of them is an Engineer working in a renowned company. And the other user is a single mother who is also a food blogger and comes across all the food applications once or twice daily. We decided to brainstorm more on the daily requirements of our users which helps us to understand how we are going to create our application.
Primary Persona

Our primary persona is Sam, a software engineer, who works for more than 9 hours now due to work from home. Because of this situation, it has been impossible for him to cook as he must attend meetings and deliver projects on time. Searching for food with respect to the delivery time and money is important for him as he must be present for all meetings on time. Our application will be very beneficial for someone like Sam because he can easily compare a specific food item from different competing applications according to time and money. As he is busy with his office workload, it also becomes impossible for him to manage all the subscriptions for the food delivering application he has, hence ending up paying for them every month. He would appreciate if he would get notifications about the auto-renewals for each application. As most of the pain points that Sam has can be solved by our app, we thought that Sam would be a perfect primary persona for whom we would design our application.
Secondary Persona

Alma is a professional food blogger. Food bloggers usually tend to order different kinds of food, click some amazing pictures and post them on their professional accounts. Due to covid situation it has been impossible for her to visit restaurants in person. Being a professional blogger, she needs to always explore new dishes while keeping a check on her food expenses. She was in search of an application which might help her in ordering food for capturing pictures and offers from restaurants which she might also blog about. Alma travels a lot which also makes it harder for her to keep track of active subscriptions for food delivery apps. She would appreciate if she would find a solution for managing her subscriptions. For Alma, her top priority is looking out for offers from nearby restaurants as she needs different kind of content for her blog. She also uses slick deals but that doesn’t help her in finding offers for food applications. Hence, providing her with such an application would be very useful. As Alma’s top priority is finding coupons regarding offers nearby rather than maintaining the active subscription, we classified her as secondar persona.
