Design Sketches
We first brainstormed and figured out how many pages our website "Subscription Buddy" should have for designing sketches. Out of 40 sketches, we decided to pick the 10 most promising sketches for our website and move forward with it. Out of 10 sketches we chose 4 sketches that we want to include in our process blog. These sketches give basic information for what we want to have in our design as they are just the low-fi sketches and our first attempt. Some of the designs got a bit modified as we thought we need to add more functionalities to the page to make it more intuitive and UI-friendly.
1)Add Subscription Page

The page where a user can add a subscription to the page. Our design for this page is to allow users to add applications by clicking the "+" add button. We modified the sketch in our High-fidelity prototype to add more new features to the page. The recently used toggle button helps the user to quickly add the applications which are recently used by him.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
-
Shows all the options by recently used, so that users can easily find which app they want to resubscribe.
Weakness:
-
Search option for searching more applications is not available.

2) Renew Subscription Page

When a user clicks on renew button for renewal of the subscription he already had, he lands on to renew subscription page. This is our first sketch for renewing the subscription page.
We modified a design because after brainstorming, we decided that we do not require a "Payment" button as we directly stored the user's credit card details while signup. So in our High-Fidelity prototype, there is no payment button. The user is directly redirected to the confirmation page with the message "Subscription renewed".

Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
-
The steps are simple and easy to understand.
Weakness:
-
The time option could be more flexible instead of just offering 6 and 12 months.
-
There is no need for a payment button.

3) Cancel Subscription Page

Users can cancel the subscription when no longer needed for a particular application. After clicking the cancel subscription button the user is redirected to the confirmation. We changed the UI of the cancel subscription page as some of the information is not necessarily required. The UI of the cancel subscription page made it more intuitive for High-Figh Prototype.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths:
-
Well-designed for users who want to check out payment and cycle and decide if they want to cancel.
Weakness:
-
The design for displaying could be more simplistic.

4) Deals Page

Deals Page is designed to provide the deals of the day of all nearby restaurants. Users can go through the deals page through the Home page and also can navigate through the navigation bar. We decided to provide one more functionality to the deals page that saves the deal. We kept the idea of providing deals but completely changed the UI of the page in Hi-Fi prototype to make it more interactive. The save icon we use here in lo-fi sketches are different from Hi-Fi to give it a good look and feel. We use the heart icon to save the deals in Hi-Fi prototypes.
Strengths and Weaknesses

Strength:
-
The ability to share the deals with friends and family will be a strength of the application.
Weakness:
-
Instead of the saved deals button, an option on the top menu bar can be provided.
